Thomson's patented innovative SINGLE StEP flash columns are an advancement in flash chromatography. Our flash columns offer a unique combination of convenience coupled with reliability and ruggedness. Flash Column chromatography will be rendered easier, more dependable and affordable with faster turnaround. Reaction time will be reduced substantially making these flash columns indispensable in any synthesis laboratory. Our flash columns are designed to be used on a variety of flash chromatography systems making them universal.
Flash Columns can be used for both, wet and dry loading with easy processing as denoted by the name, SINGLE StEP. Simply open the screw-top cap, introduce the compound containing solvent or dry load the compound mixture followed by the addition of an appropriate solvent. Our flash columns are offered in a variety of packing material types, making compound separation a cinch for the chemist.
U.S. Patent 7,138,061, 7,381,327, 7,410,571 and other patents pending. U.K. Patent 2413972.
SINGLE StEP Flash Columns allow for a simple screw top column that can be used for liquid or dry loading. E. Merck silica columns match the E. Merck or Merck KGA TLC plates.
For normal phase chromatography with polar basic compounds. Amine is usable when silica is too polar and a good median between reverse phase is needed.
Diol flash columns can be used for polarity change separations. Diol flash columns work well with polar compounds. Diol flash columns are reusable up to 20 times.
Phenyl flash columns are a good choice to compare with other reverse phase flash columns for separation.
Simple screw top flash column for liquid or dry loading. The flash columns are a universal fit for all different flash instruments.
C18 flash columns replace prep chromatography and can be loaded 1:10 (10%). C18 flash columns are reusable up to 20 times.
Cyano flash columns are good for Boronic Acids and are a good alternative for silica because of its alternative compound selectivity.
SINGLE StEP Empty Flash Columns (patented) allow for the opportunity to fill different sized flash columns with resin. Connects to FPLC systems.
