Flash Chromatography
SINGLE StEP Columns (patented) represent an innovative step forward in chromatography. Flash Chromatography is a quick and inexpensive technique for the purification of organic compounds. Thomson columns come in a wide variety of sizes ranging from 4g to 300g silica-based for easy scalability of synthetic reactions. Thomson also offers other packing material like Amine and C18 columns which will enable the end-user to utilize these columns for a broad range of reactions.

SINGLE StEP Silica Columns
Simple screw top column for liquid or dry loading. The columns are a universal fit for all different flash instruments.
SINGLE StEP Amine Columns
For normal phase chromatography with polar basic compounds. Amine is usable when silica is too polar and a good median between reverse phase is needed.
SINGLE StEP Diol Columns
Diol columns can be used for polarity change separations. Diol columns work well with polar compounds. Diol columns are reusable up to 20 times.
SINGLE StEP Phenyl Columns
Phenyl columns are a good choice to compare with other reverse phase columns for separation.
Bulk Sorbent
Thomson Bulk Sorbent allows you to purchase all the phases in loose format. Use Bulk Sorbent for absorbing compounds in specialty phases for dry loading.
TLC Plates
Thomson offers different TLC plates for all of its phases. Silica, Amine, Cyano, Diol, and Phenyl TLC plates. Custom size TLC plates also available.

SINGLE StEP E. Merck Columns
SINGLE StEP Columns (patented) allow for a simple screw top column that can be used for liquid or dry loading. E. Merck silica columns match the E. Merck or Merck KGA TLC plates.
SINGLE StEP C18 Columns
C18 columns replace prep chromatography and can be loaded 1:10 (10%). C18 columns are reusable up to 20 times.
SINGLE StEP Cyano Columns
Cyano columns are good for Boronic Acids and are a good alternative for silica because of its alternative compound selectivity.
Syringe Barrel Columns
Syringe Barrel Columns packed with silica and used as open columns on older machinery, such as Flashmaster® systems. Syringe Barrel Columns range from 5g-70g.
Empty Syringe Barrel Columns
Thomson offers Empty Syringe barrels for extra dry loading columns or for making your own columns, etc.
Head Space Frits
For SINGLE StEP Columns (patented) and for Syringe Barrel columns. Plunger set for pushing down the Head Space Frits for compacting when dry loading.
