The use of Thomson Teflon Cap Mats Patent Pending includes all types of Combinatorial Synthesis. The use of Teflon Cap Mats could be for Fluro Carbon Plates, Sealing for Polypropylene plates, anything needing a chemically resistant seal. This also allows the use of strong solvents in plate format that could be never used due to the weak material Cap Mats are made from. It can be used with all solvents until around 150 degrees. The Thomson Square 96 Well Cap Mat is a good sealing device for most 2mL Deep Well plates (#399120). The Thomson Round 96 Well Cap Mat is a good sealing device for most 96 Round Well plates (#399121).

In order to keep a tight seal on the Well Plate we recommend using our Thomson Clamp #905MR . This will allow no Cross Contamination while doing your reactions.
