Microcrystalline Cellulose TLC plates offer you an efficient alternative to paper chromatography. These plates provide faster separations with good surface uniformity. Although separations are due primarily to partition, minimal adsorption does occur and this dual mechanism results in unique and superior separations in many cases.

Analysis times are shorter, Rf values lower and spots tighter than with fibrous cellulose plates. Other advantages include:
